Learning outcomes

What you should be able to do without us in the room.

  • Write an event dictionary a care team recognises

Name events in clinical language, separate self-report from sensor traces, and kill vanity installs from the north-star conversation.

  • Ingest wearables without magical averages

Decide when to downsample, when to keep a spike, and when a day is unusable — then document the rule so engineering can implement it.

  • Draw cohort doors that match care paths

Stop treating install week as week one of illness. Map first-dose, first-symptom log, and first missed refill as separate entries.

  • Defend a board in mixed company

Produce a two-page memo and a screen that a physician advisor, a PM, and a privacy lead can mark in the same sitting.

Modules

Eleven weeks, three blocks.

Weeks 1–4 · Taxonomy and ingest

Product claims versus measurable change. Event naming. Wearable ingest lab (heart-rate, sleep stages, optional CGM). SQL recap packet for those who need it — note: the recap is a packet, not a full database course.

Weeks 5–8 · Cohorts and privacy

Cohort cartography for chronic care. Retention after clinical onboarding. Privacy-aware telemetry under Thai PDPA, including what never belongs in a warehouse. Stakeholder narrative drills.

Weeks 9–11 · Board and defence

Dashboard critique against a medical advisor script. Final measurement memo. Office hours in weeks 4, 8, and 11. No slide theatre at close — you present the memo and one screen.

Instructor

Maliwan Chaiyaporn

Portrait of instructor Maliwan Chaiyaporn

Maliwan led measurement at a Bangkok chronic-care startup for six years before joining Sensor Routehub. She still sits monthly with two physician advisors and refuses to teach vendor certifications. Students meet her in the Wednesday studio and in the three scheduled office hours; async comments on Friday memos are hers unless a guest faculty is named in advance.

Informational pricing

A Pulse Map seat is listed at ฿48,500. That covers live studios, written critique, office hours, and twelve months of alumni salon access. It does not include travel to Roi Et, software licences, or device hardware. Group seats (two or three people from the same product) can be arranged; write to the desk. There is no checkout on this page — see seat options and the refund notice.

From people who sat this intensive

Varied in length, not all complimentary.

“Week six’s PDPA session changed our warehouse plan more than any engineering retro. We deleted three identifier fields the same Friday.”

Ananya Rattanakosin, analytics manager · Bangkok

“The wearable ingest lab moved faster than my SQL. The recap packet exists, but I still lost two evenings. Once I caught up, the downsample-versus-discard rule was the most useful artefact I took back to the team.”

Mira Tan, Singapore

Questions we actually get

Including a limit we will not pretend to cover.

Do I need to bring a live health app?

A live product is better. If you are pre-launch, you may work from a tightly specified imaginary app — but you still write real event names and a real memo. We will not let you hide in hypotheticals for eleven weeks.

Is this a Thai FDA or device-submission course?

No. Pulse Map does not cover Thai FDA or FDA device submission paperwork, clinical trial design, or software-as-medical-device filing. That is a real limitation of the intensive: we teach Health App Analytics and product measurement, not regulatory dossiers. If filing is your primary need, do not sit this seat expecting that outcome.

How technical is the SQL?

Enough to critique a query and reshape a daily grain. We are not training warehouse engineers. If joins make you freeze, budget extra time in weeks 1–4; the recap packet is short on purpose.

What happens if I miss a Wednesday studio?

Recordings go out the same evening. You still owe the Friday memo. Two missed live sessions without notice and we will talk about pausing rather than quietly failing the close.
